Straight answers
Charlotte VPS questions.
How much does a VPS cost in Charlotte?
Charlotte virtual servers start at $20 per month for 1 dedicated vCPU, 4 GB of DDR4 memory, 25 GB of SSD RAID 10 storage and 10 TB of transfer on a 10 Gbps port, running up to $150 per month for 64 GB of memory. All plans are billed monthly with no contract.
What control panel do I get?
The same secure control panel we run in Boston. You can reboot, reinstall the operating system, request additional resources and open a console session without filing a ticket.
How is my data isolated?
Your virtual machine is secured at the network, host and disk level, so other customers on the same hardware cannot reach your data.
Can I run Windows?
Windows is supported on the VM 16G plan and above. The smaller plans are Linux only.
Is support included?
Yes. Whether you need a custom solution designed or just have a question about an application running on your VM, our team acts as your outside resource rather than pointing you at documentation.
Should I pick Charlotte or Boston?
Pick the one closer to your users. Charlotte, in Segra CLT2, gives lower latency to Atlanta, Washington DC and the southeast. Boston, in CoreSite BO1, gives you MASS-IX peering and the northeast corridor. Pricing is the same either way.
Need a custom Charlotte configuration?
Tell us the workload and we will size the instance against it rather than pushing you into the nearest plan tier.
